O mind! practise renunciation in this way:

Consider all the dwellings to be the forest. Remain detached at heart.(1)pause.

Make continence your matted hair, union with God your ablution and your daily practice (duties) growth of your long nails.

Eat little, sleep little and generate compassion and forbearance in your heart.

Profess pure conduct and patience always. Remain free from the three (goodness, passion and darkness) constituents of nature.(2)

Do not conceive of lust, wrath, haughtiness, greed, obstinacy and attachment in your mind.

Hold your mind under control as your stringed instrument and spread the beggar's bag to receive the alms of God's Name.

God's realization should be the striking of melodious strings from which emanates the lovely and luscious song.(1)

The waves of Love should arise from the musical tune and there should be code of conduct for the songs of divine knowledge.
